About the Product
Reminology is a memory preservation service. We help millennial expats capture their aging parents' life stories through a guided WhatsApp voice call — in the parent's native language — and transform those conversations into a written story and a printed hardcover book.
No. Your parent only needs to tap a link you send them on WhatsApp. The link opens a secure private voice call directly in their browser. They do not need to download anything, create an account, or learn any new technology.
We currently support English, Hindi, and Bengali. Tamil, Marathi, Punjabi and Telugu are launching later in 2026. If your parent speaks a language not yet supported, join the waitlist - we prioritise based on demand.
Most sessions run between 25 and 35 minutes. Our AI guides the conversation with questions, so your parent does not need to prepare anything. They just talk.
The book is an A5 hardcover — approximately 200 pages — printed in a premium mixed black-and-white format with selective colour pages for photos. Each story page includes a QR code that links to the original voice recording.
The MVP uses a private two-person call — just your parent and our AI guide. A 'joint session' mode (where you are also on the call) is on our roadmap and will be available as an optional feature in a future update.
Privacy & Trust
No. Recordings are retained for 30 days after the story is delivered to you. After that, they are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers — including from our recording provider, our database, and all backups.
Only you (the person who initiated the session) can access the story and recording. We do not share, sell, or use your family's stories for any purpose other than generating your story and book.
Reply DELETE to any of our WhatsApp messages at any time. All data — recording, transcript, story text, and photos — is permanently erased within 24 hours. This is your right under GDPR Article 17.
Yes. We are incorporated in the Netherlands (Dorp.ai B.V.) and designed with GDPR compliance as a core requirement. Consent is recorded at onboarding, data retention is capped at 30 days post-delivery, and deletion is instant on request.
Pricing & Delivery
The founding price is €67 — available to the first 100 families. This includes one hardcover memory book and 12 months of digital archive access. After the founding period, the standard price is €89. Additional sibling copies are €49 each.
Your first story session is completely free. You only pay when you decide you want the printed hardcover book. Payment is via a secure link we send you on WhatsApp — no account needed.
Books are printed on demand in the Netherlands. Delivery within Europe typically takes 5–10 business days from the time you approve your book.
Yes. When your book is ready, you can add sibling copies for €49 each. We offer this at the time of delivery — no need to decide now.
The Process
The call link remains active. Your parent can reconnect at any time and continue from where the conversation left off. Nothing is lost.
That is completely fine and very common in Indian families. Our AI is designed to handle code-switching between languages within a single conversation.
Our AI guide asks warm, specific questions — about childhood, food, a memorable journey, a person who shaped them. Parents do not need to 'perform' or prepare. The conversation unfolds naturally.
Yes. We share the written story with you on WhatsApp before we print anything. You approve it — or ask for edits — before we place the print order.
